The newly bought water cups and kettles will have some food-grade PP plastic smell due to the plastic mold opening when the factory leaves the factory. This is a normal new product smell. You can use the following methods to remove the smell for the first time.
1. Boiling water deodorization method
First clean the inside of the cup with a neutral detergent, then pour boiling water into the cup, let it stand for two hours, and finally clean the inside of the cup.
2. Milk deodorization method
First clean the inside of the cup with a neutral detergent, then pour two tablespoons of fresh milk into the cup, tighten the lid of the cup, leave it for about four hours, and finally clean the inside of the cup.
3. Orange peel deodorization method
First clean the inside of the cup with a neutral detergent, then put fresh orange peels into the cup, tighten the lid, let it stand for about four hours, and finally clean the inside of the cup.
